Benchmark’s River Road facility is served by the CSXT railroad daily, Monday through Friday. As an “open gate” facility, CSXT has open access to Benchmark’s rail siding. This allows a seamless delivery process directly from the customer to Benchmark’s rail yard. The Trackmobile unit allows Benchmark to shuffle cars within the rail yard without further assistance from the railroad.
